1: Why did you choose this character?
I chose this character, because is woman that the
Bible tells that beautiful and decided in the difficult moments, in a very important moment of her life. God chose her to protect the Israelites from
the hand of an evil man called Aman, which created a whole strategy so that
when the whole jewish nation perished so will a man called Mordecai.(Esther`s
uncle).
Aman hated mordecai because he never bowed down unto
him as Aman was this made him angry each
time, for this reason he investigated which was mordecai`s people and planned to destroy them, the King
agreed to destroy , kill, an exterminate every jew in his kingdom this is where
Esther gets in

2: Describe the character – using adjectives, comparatives and superlatives.
Esther was more beautiful than all of the
maidens of the palace, she was the most beautiful woman in the kingdom, She was
very devoted to God; she had no comparison with the other women in the kingdom,
she was unique. She was very intelligent too; she was so intelligent that when
she knew what was coming for her people, she planned such a detailed and
impressive strategy that it overcame Amman’s. She took very important decisions
and planned a party at which the king will be very satisfied and happy, and as
the king was so full of joy he told her to ask him anything she may want in her
heart and it will be hers; even the other half of the kingdom. But she was
smarter she told him: “Let me make another party to honour you, and in this one
I will declare what is my wish.

For this party Esther prepare herself in the
following way:
Every day she woke up and took a milk bath with
aromatic scenses to present herself beautiful to the king, she hopes that his
king will feel proud of having such a beautiful, and intelligent woman. She
eats her food and later she gets together with her maidens to pray God and ask
him for grace and direction to declare her wish.
In the afternoon even though she wasn’t called
to the king’s presence she goes to him knowing that she could be killed by his
command, because that’s how it was accustomed.
The time passed and the time of the celebration
had come, she wore her best dress and fascinated the king’s heart and made him
feel very happy once again. Then she declares her deepest wish. She wishes that
he will spear the life of her people and hers because she was a Jew too. So the
king stood up and commanded that her
people will be speared, and that Amman must die. This is how Amman died; and he
died hanged with the same gallow that he made for Mordecai

In conclusion she was a very intelligent woman
that risked her own life for her people, accomplishing Gods purpose with her,
she was devoted and courageous, no matter her nationality and different culture, she let us see that a
woman is very able to free and break chains that can be holding or attempting
against what she wants. She is a vivid example of how a woman should be and
what she can reach, she was a true queen.
